Sixteen VELUX Ridgelight modules over a dining hall in Mississauga. The owners wanted to open the room up, fill it with daylight and cut what they were spending on lights during the day. Twin pitched glazing runs along one continuous curb on the flat roof.
The curb was insulated all the way round before the metal cladding went on, then the cladding was formed tight to the frame so there is no gap for water or cold air to find.
Installed in 2024. The job went to plan with no surprises.
