Find your house

Type your address and press Find. The map will drop you on your roof from above.

Outline your roof

Trace it. Click each corner of the roof, following the outside edge — overhang included. Click the first corner again to close it.
Show the slope. Click the peak, then the gutter below it. Add one arrow for each side of the roof.

Drawing tips

Zoom right in — the closer you are, the more accurate the measurement.
Lines lock to square corners with your house. Hold Shift (or turn off “Square corners”) to draw freely.
Drag a red corner to move it. Click a corner, then use the arrow keys to nudge it 10 cm.
Click the white dot on a side to add a corner. Double-click (or right-click) a corner to remove it.
Enter closes the outline, Backspace takes back the last corner, Esc cancels.
On a phone: move the map so the + sits on a corner and tap “Add corner at +”.

Your roof

What goes on it?

How steep is it?

Normal is what most GTA homes have — about 6/12.

How complicated is it?

Simple: one or two big roof faces, easy to work on, a truck can park close.

Skylights

Leave these at zero if you only want the roof. Each skylight you add appears on your roof at its real size — drag it on the map to where you want it.
